Harambee Stars captain Michael Olunga has joined former Qatari champions, Al-Arabi.

Olunga joins the seven-time Qatar Stars League champions from Al-Duhail following the expiry on his contract in May.

The Kenyan captain has played for Al-Duhail since 2021. While playing for Al-Duhail last season, Olunga, 31, finished as the club’s all-time top scorer on 130 goals.

Al-Arabi, who have won the Emir of Qatar Cup nine times, with the last during the 2022-2023 season, last lifted the Qatar Stars League in 1996-1997.

Olunga guided Al-Duhail to Qatar Stars League in 2022-2023 and Emir of Qatar Cup in 2022.

Al-Arabi plays its home matches at the Al Thumama Stadium in Doha.

Former Kenyan captain Dennis Oliech also played for Al-Arabi.
