Kabras Sugar on Saturday proved ruthless, dismantling Menengai Oilers 33-12 to seal a fifth straight Enterprise Cup at Nakuru Showground.
Kabras Sugar also extended their unbeaten run locally to three seasons. The sugar millers had also won the Kenya Cup for the fifth time, four in a row when they humbled Menengai Oilers 27-26 a fortnight ago at the Kakamega Showground.
Kabras Sugar affirmed that they couldn’t lose a war at the showground to rightfully bag the bragging rights as the kings of rugby in Kenya for another season.
Kabras Sugar, who had suffered a 15-0 at the hands of Oilers but at the Great Rift 10-a-side at Nakuru Athletic Club a week ago, were the better side and started the match with full force, pinning their opponents in their own half.
The sugar millers took an early lead when their most valuable player Ntabeni Dukisa booted in a penalty to send the Oilers into a panic mode.

Moments later Okoth extended the lead when he evaded a harsh tackle to bury a beautiful try that was well executed by the man-of-the-match Dukisa.
Still calling the shot, Kabars Sugar piled more pressure, and as the Oilers ran out of steam, Alfred Orege scored the second try for his side.
However, Dukisa failed to make the conversion as they went into the break with an emphatic 15-0 comfortable lead.
Upon resumption, Kabras Sugar widened their lead, with Dukisa scoring a crucial penalty as they continued their dominance over their opponents.
Bildad Ogeto reduced the arrears for the Oilers when he scored a try near the corner flag, which was however, not converted by Samwel Mwaura. Kabras replied with another try by Gabriel Odero that was executed by Dukisa to give them an insurmountable lead before Griffin Chao added a try that Dukisa missed.

Dukisa sealed the fate for the Oilers in the closing minutes of the game, which attracted a sizable number of fans when he scored a decisive penalty.
Kabras Sugar’s captain, George Nyambua, said they came to Nakuru to exact revenge against Oliers.
“After we lost the Great Rift 10-a-aside, we went to the drawing board and the outcome was sweet as the victory was according to plan to seal the game in the first half,” said Nyambua.
Oilers coach Gibson Weru conceded defeat and accepted that his boys were outplayed.
“It was just not our day. We had a bad day in the office, and the best team won. Our concentration was poor,” said Weru.
