Khayega Leeds U17 win Austine Munase Cup

The Khayega Leeds United Under-17 side on Saturday won the inaugural Austine Munase Cup at Khayega Sports ground.
Mark Mulamula struck the lone goal of the match as Khayega edged out Young Rovers FC 1-0 in a closely contested final in Khayega.
The victors had beated Vihulu FC 1-0 in the semis while Rovers hit Mukumu United 2-0 to qualify for the final.
The senior category championship final will be staged on January 1st at the same venue.
Tournament sponsor, Austine Munase, who gave away the trophy and cash awards to the top teams, urged the youth to keep off drugs and engage in meaningful activities to realise their dreams in life.
